The power which has been printed into golgari elves seems very tempting when discussing what I want to use in my power cutthroat/linear deck. There is a good reason Mono-green is the most-built grouping for Elf tribal, at over 2000 more decks than the next most popular, Golgari elves. Lack of Support - I have very few elves which lean into the white color identity in my deck, and it's for good reason most of the elves which are in white, or tribal bonuses in white, are just not as strong as their mono-green counterparts. Selesnya brings power to the elf tribe without being the most expected coloration for Elfball. Unique - I am a hipster at heart when it comes to making Magic decks, and playing what everyone else plays isn't what draws me most to the game.
